Eighteen years of shipping software
Modernaut brings long production experience to mobile apps, web products, and custom platforms where the details matter.
How Modernaut works now
Projects begin with a bounded scope, named risks, and a delivery plan that can be tested. A staging URL follows early. Everything is handed over in your own repository, with the decisions and operational details documented well enough for another qualified team to continue cleanly.
The stack is mostly TypeScript these days, though Tyler’s production background also includes PHP, Python, Ruby, and Java. The useful part of eighteen years is not the current framework — it is knowing which problems are actually new and which ones the industry has already solved twice and forgotten.
Along the way, Tyler studied computer science at Rochester Institute of Technology, including discrete mathematics, cryptography, and biologically inspired intelligence systems, before leaving to take the production work already arriving. Modernaut combines that technical foundation with the judgment earned by shipping for real organizations and real users.
